Dr. Križan is a Professor of Psychology at Iowa State University where he directs the Sleep, Self, and Personality Laboratory (SSPeL). He also currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Research in Personality and an Associate Editor for SLEEP Advances.

 

Dr. Križan is an elected Fellow of the Associations for Psychological Science and the Society for Personality and Social Psychology  whose work has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the Department of Justice. His research, training, and consulting work on sleep and fatigue has involved various first-responder, legal, and law-enforcement organizations, including the U.S. Army and Navy.
